See the Northern Territory's unique wild life and spectacular billabong, creeks and flood planes by plane, boat and 4WD with this new package.
This Includes transfers to Daly River by fixed wing plane, while going for a scenic over the amazing Daly Region.
Fishing for Barramundi on the well known Daly River with our professional guides and local knowledge, then loading up the 4WD and heading through The Litchfield National Park to see some of NTs must see natural sights then down to the Douglas Daly and Katherine Gorge before setting off in fixed wing comfort back to Darwin. This is an example itinerary of a typical 5day package. Other options can include mud crabbing, and a min of 3 days.
Extended Fishing Charter
Packages can include fishing the Daly River, the mouth of the river out the coast to the Peron Island's, Mud-crabbing, upper Daly Barra adventure.
The packages are customised to suit your fishing needs, (typically 3-7 days).

Annual fishing groups catered for no group to big or small
Options for example itinerary
Mud-crabbing charter (times depend on tides for the day)
- 6.00am pick up from Darwin airport or accommodation.
- Crab Darwin Harbour.
- Lay the pots then cruise around pulling up the big muddies.
- 12.30 noon, lunch and refreshments on the water.
- Return to shore.
- Check into accommodation.
- 7.00pm Dinner in the Darwin City.
Barramundi Fishing
- 6.00am Depart early for Daly River.
- 7.00am Breakfast at Adelaide River.
- 9.00am Arrive at Daly River. Fish the Daly River.
- 12.30 noon, lunch on the river.
- Fish the afternoon casting and trawling for Barramundi
- 5.00pm return to base.
- 7.00pm Dinner.
- Retire to cabin/motel room.
Barramundi Fishing (Camp Breakfast)
- Breakfast on the sandbar. Camp breakfast of hot jaffles tea and coffee while watching the sunrise.
- 7.00am Fish the Daly River for Barramundi
- 12.30 Lunch on the river
- Fishing throughout the afternoon while sighting native Australian flora and fauna
- 4.00pm Return to base
- 7.00pm Dinner
- Retire to cabin/motel room.
4WD Touring
- 6.30am Breakfast of bacon and eggs toast, cereal and fruit. Tea and coffee.
- Tour the Daly River community and arts centre. See how small aboriginal community operates.
- Litchfield’s 4WD only track to the natural waterfalls for a swim in a tropical oasis.
- 12.30noon lunch by the water, sausage BBQ and icy cold drinks.
- 4.00pm Return to Daly River.
- 7.00pm Dinner.
- Retire to cabin/motel room.
Notes:
- This itinerary is an example of all your options. You can chose to do Barramundi fishing for the entire trip or any other combination, to suit time and preferences to fishing types eg Blue water, River & Mud-crabbing. Changes would also be made to compensate for tides.
- Itineraries are drawn up for each charter depending on weather and fishing conditions.
- Package charters are 2 to 7 days.
- Options may incur additional cost and options availability is affected by seasonal conditions.
- Night croc spotting tours are optional, as is the tour through community and art centre.
- Accommodation included is shared between the group. Located at the Daly River Mango Farm and the Daly River Inn.
- Hunting safari packages available.
- Helicopter for hunting is available upon request.
- Upper Daly Barra Adventure includes camping over night and open fire camp dinners.
- Tackle is supplied on a replace if lost or broken basis.
