Fishing Report

August  2010 

G'day, finally i am writing a new fishing report for you. The year to date has not been the best fishing so far, with some days lucky to produce fish and other days bagging out. A few weeks ago we were lucky to pick up some nice fish with the biggest being a 104cm barra caught on a classic barra 10+ diver. August the first we had a group up in darwin for the darwin cup deciding to do a days fishing before hand. We got a lot of fish but not to many big enough for the freezer. At the moment we are moving back in to neep tides so the water should clean up a bit producing some better catches. The fishing is good on live bait with a lot of small fish around unfortunately they won't help us until next year when they are legal. Hopefully this page will now be updated fairly regularly throughout the year, we won't have to much info for the rest of this year as tourists are a bit quiet now. by end of march next year we will have a weekly update for everybody to drool over. Tight lines and happy fishing.
